The Sail paradoxically represents the past and the present. Imbued with the resonant and hopeful voices of the future, The Sail stands as a reminder of the painful manner in which some of our ancestors left their homeland, while also looking to the future shores which we shall reach through our creative expressions and our presence. This time by choice.

Powered sonically by the collective of our resonating voices, this monument represents our ability to dismantle the weapons of our oppressors for the benefit of our forward-future progress. Manifested as reverberant sound waves overtaking a full and billowing sail, this folly stands as a backdrop for public speaking, stage and music performances, and panel discussions.
